Hi Friends of Jesus!
This is the first series on Jesus’ friends. We’ve chosen to start with Peter because he was one of his best friends.
The Bible tells us so many things about their relationship that one series simply isn’t enough to fit them all in. We’ll bring out another series during Lent on the things Peter did and said at the time of the Passion and Jesus’ resurrection. And later on we might even have one on the letters he wrote.
Peter was full of enthusiasm and love for Jesus – so much so that sometimes Jesus even had to tell him off, as you’ll see!

Sleep well!
Before going to sleep, we thank the Lord for His immense love. He watches lovingly over us at night and doesn’t move from our side. He protects us under His wings and His light shines on us so we can fear no darkness.
But the Lord also speaks to us and guides us during the night. Maybe, like Samuel, Joseph or many others in the Bible, we should wait for the peacefulness of the night to hear what the Lord wants to tell us.
Amid the storms of life, I hope that the Lord gives you rest as calm and confident as Jesus had in the boat rocked by the waves of Lake Galilee.
