The Exodus, the second comic book on the Old Testament, now in the App Store!

May 13th, 2010

After completing the three comics on the New Testament: Land of Nazareth, Roads of Galilee and Streets of Jerusalem, which have been grouped on the album New Testament, and having published The Genesis, this May we present you the central comic book of the Old Testament: The Exodus.

This album tells the story of Moses, in his confrontation with the king of Egypt and the exodus through the desert.

We would like to highlight the drawings of Egypt and the egyptians, especially their clothes. They are also beautiful desert landscapes and images of the Red Sea crossing. And finally, we think you will like the deal of the plagues of Egypt and the tables of the law with the Ten Commandments.

Unlike the other Children’s Bible comic books, structured in different episodes, The Exodus presents the story in a row, linked to the biblical argument.

This album may help you to explain the origins of the Easter. If you relate it with the album Streets of Jerusalem, you can explain the links between and the Jewish and Christian Easter, in these times of Easter celebrations.

As with all the Children’s Bible materials, we have been used strictly biblical texts from the Good News Bible version of the American Bible Society.
